Our story

It all started with a spark of inspiration during my first pregnancy. We felt inundated with advice on baby items that we should buy. Navigating the overwhelming array of baby products, we struggled to distinguish between what was good quality, what we actually needed and what we wanted.

The existing baby product landscape often lacked skin-friendly, practical, durable, breathable, and well-designed options. Searching for desired items proved challenging, requiring orders from multiple websites.

Bamboo and merino products were scarce, and GOTS certified organic cotton wasn't always readily available, blends of the softest bamboo and cotton were even harder to find.

Nappy bags options were limited or came in impractical tote shoulder styles, lacking the convenience of backpacks with comfortable straps. We quickly discovered that a backpack is essential for carrying a child or wearing a baby. Additionally, they were not wipeable, lacked desired style and frequently lacked sufficient pockets and durability.

To address these gaps, extensive research went into curating Bamsibub®'s boutique product line, ensuring the highest quality and practicality. Our hope is that you derive as much pleasure from using them as we did in creating and sourcing them.

Recognizing a niche in the market, I conceived the idea for the Bamsibub® 'Welcome Home Kit'—a comprehensive set of newborn essentials for the parenting journey. I envisioned it as an ideal baby shower gift, easing the burden for new parents.

As a parent, I know firsthand the difficulties that new parents face. My passion to help them navigate through the challenges and beauty of parenthood whilst nurturing a child.
